Rose McGowan and iPhone

This has been in my iPad for so long, I already forgot which website I borrowed it from. I was in high school when Charmed was being aired, and I was quite happy that the reruns are still on cableTV.

Of course, everybody knows Rose McGowan as Paige from Charmed. Saw this cute picture online with her using the first iPhone. I'm sure this photo must be circa 2007, but it was still worth sharing. I still like the design of the first iPhone over the two models that followed it.

Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder

Here's a photo I'm sure my sister would love. I saw this picture in Coolspotters.com, one of my favorite websites for celebrity sightings. I'm not sure, but perhaps this picture was taken in Coachella? Nina Dobrev is spotted with a white iPhone, and Ian Somerhalder. I'm just not sure if she's using an iPhone 4 or 4S.

Miley Cyrus' LOL Poster

Again, from Coolspotters, I chanced on a movie poster of Miley Cyrus featuring an iPhone 4 or 4S. Looks like I might end up watching a Miley Cyrus movie, just to give support to the iPhone.

Cristine Reyes in No Other Woman

The iPhone 4 was used prominently in the film No Other Woman.

It was used by the character of Cristine Reyes. She answered the call of the mistress and forced her to listen to her while she was making love to her husband. She was also waving it around aimlessly while convincing the mistress to have dinner in her house.

I'm a firm believer that in Philippine cinema, when you use these devices as props, they are in fact the actual cellphone of the actor. So here I am, assuming that Cristine Reyes, might in fact be an iPhone 4 user.

Both actresses are using either an iPhone 4 or 4S. Kim Chiu even has a white Blackberry Torch on the pretty white stool presumably in her kitchen. Its nice to look at what stuff celebrities use. I remember I used to watch a local soap before just so that I could see what cellphones the actors would use, this was during the time when a Nokia 8210 would cost around PhP 24,000.00!

I would say celebrities would often always end up using the "it" phones for the moment, mostly because these have become part of the accessory you must be seen toting.

President Noynoy and His iPhone 4S

Being Filipino, I stumbled across this article in http://www.keywordspeak.com/2011/12/president-aquino-first-iphone-4s-owner.html. According to the article, the president of the Philippines may be the first Filipino to own an iPhone 4S. In the picture borrowed from the said website, President Noynoy was being presented the iPhone 4S as part of his loyalty rewards program with Globe Telecommunications. It has been 2 years since his last upgrade, and he will be upgrading from either an iPhone 3G or 3GS, I am just unsure. Above with him is Mr. Ernest Cu, Globe's president, and Mr. Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala, Chairman of Ayala Corporation, the umbrella corporation of Globe.

Sorry, it doesn't really count as a celebrity sighting, but just something I thought might be worth sharing.

Victoria Beckham Using a Gold iPhone 4

Victoria Beckham, or Posh Spice, is seen here using an iPhone 4. But its no ordinary iPhone 4. If you look closely, the steel sides are actually gold-plated. Now that's one posh iPhone.

There is a site that advertises gold-plated iPhones. If only the sides were gold-plated, according to http://iphone4gold.co.uk/, this should cost you around US$156.30. I'm sure her gold-plated iPhone cost more than just that, though.

Paris Hilton Using a White iPhone 4

For the first celebrity sighting, I chose Paris Hilton and her white iPhone 4, because when she visited Manila last 2011, she reportedly lost 2 iPhones on the flight. Somebody must have been such a fan in the Emirates flight, and thought that the heiress' iPhones would be good additions to their memorabilia collection.

Celebrity iPhone Sightings

I used to be a Crackberry addict, and used to check out Celebrity Blackberry Sightings all the time. However, times change, and now, I'm an iPhone 4S user. Sadly, I cannot find a site that showcases celebrities using iPhones. There are pictures online, its just that they're scattered in different sites.

So, as a disclaimer, I am starting off this blog by borrowing pictures online. As much as possible, I will try to give credit to the sites that I will be borrowing the photos from. Hopefully, pretty soon, we'll be receiving emails of photos of celebrities using iPhones.
